Why always with the RBF??
(Sweater and skirt Old Navy)

Ah, New York City... Often its own little island apart from the world, seemingly unaffected by anything, definitely including the weather! Instead of it being chilly, and on the cusp of winter, it was a nice brisk day. Bright and warm enough for a walk around the lively city on a Thursday afternoon, and so we did!
I dragged my friend with me and we headed to one of the most affluent areas in the city (that we seemed to forget it was also very filled with tourists): Wall Street! As a fashion major, I was aware that areas such as this one held people with more money and therefore meant better dressed. Just as seventh avenue is the fashion avenue, Wall Street was where you spotted those in business attire strutting on the sidewalk like it was a catwalk. And mostly a men's show at that. That being said, it was nice day and a good idea to look nice on the streets today, not just the easy jeans, top and chucks to walk the streets.
Strutting around in a cute, all-Old-Navy outfit, we did the tourist-y thing and found all the icons/landmarks that are on Wall Street and took pictures! My favorite part was the fact that, even though our GPS may have gone on the fritz and we walked around a block one too many times, my heeled booties were comfortable all day and the sweater-skirt combo was perfect for the brisk weather out. Of course, we did enjoy seeing the Charging Bull and the Fearless Girl: the bull originally representing strength and prosperity, and the girl igniting the conversation of the power of women in leadership (of course there's some tension as the bull's artists the girl distorts the idea of the bull.
